WALT: use place value partitioning to solve multiplication problems.

37 x 25=925

(30x20)+(30x5)+(7x20)+(7x5)=600 + 150 + 140 + 35=925

42 x 17=714

(40 x 10)+(40x7)+(10x2)+(2x7)= 400 +280 + 20 + 14 =714
